Tahir is a professional golfer recently graduated from University of Victoria. Throughout his golf career, Tahir has proven how discipline leads to success. In 2020, Tahir finished in the top 25 at the British Columbia Amateur which secured his spot in the 2020 Canadian Amateur in Windsor. Tahir also played his way onto the University of Victoria golf team in a 10-man tournament for one spot after working towards this goal for years. In the 2023/24 season, Tahir won 2 amateur events and had 3 top-5 finishes in professional events.

 

Outside of golf, Tahir consistently displays excellence in several domains including academics and community service. Tahir finished in the top 10% of his graduating class, has won an NAIA award for maintaining a 3.5GPA, he volunteered as an assistant golf coach for Esquimalt high school, and has participated in several golf clinics to grow junior golf.  

 

Tahir’s next objective is to play in the 2026 Masters.
